His other specialty is hand surgery with his special expertise in the treatment of Dupuytren's disease with collagenase injection, focused shock wave therapy and, if necessary, surgery.

Presentation: Ultra high frequency imaging of superficial extremities tendons
The focus of this part of the webinar will be on the visualization of superficial tendons of the upper and lower extremity and how high-resolution (>18MHz). Matrix ultrasound probes will help in the assessment of both diagnosis and severity of tendon degeneration. As such, the Matrix probes with 18/24/33MHz. as well as the hockey stick matrix probes in hand tendons, will be discussed. The beneficial application of Doppler modes like Power Doppler, Advanced Dynamic Flow (ADF) and Superb Microvascular Imaging (SMI) will be demonstrated on the Achilles and patella tendons. Furthermore, therapeutic examples where high-resolution ultrasound supports in the assessment of tendon response will be highlighted.
