The OCT-HS100 produces a fantastic image quality and is extremely easy to use. The Canon RX software platform provides extensive IT connectivity. With the optional Angio Expert software, the OCT-HS100 can easily be upgraded with OCT- Angiography.
HIGH SCANNING SPEED
The 70,000 A-scans/s result in standard examinations to be done in under 2 seconds. This provides increased patient comfort and better results. An ultra fast scan basic scan can even be done under 0.5 second!
3 / 1.6 μicron OPTICAL/DIGITAL AXIAL RESOLUTION
Canon’s renowned optical expertise provides unsurpassed image quality.
Multiple scan modes (combinations of scan direction, area, etc) can be combined in up to 10 examination sets. There are 5 default examination sets: Macula Disease, Glaucoma, Choroid, Anterior and General and optionally OCT- A .
Examinations for other retinal diseases can be easily created.
HIGH DEFINITION OCT IMAGE
By combining the very high native optical resolution with averaging of multiple scans ( up to 200), a superior image quality can be obtained providing amazing image details.
The built-in Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope (SLO) contributes to the quality of the scans and the ease of use. It provides superior observation, an accurate follow up and is the hart of the real time retinal tracking.

The SLO allows accurate follow- up examinations, using the same scan position within 100 microns. For reliable comparison , the software will automatically set the identical parameters for scan mode, position and size, fixation target position and size as used for the previous examination.
10 LAYER RECOGNITION
The OCT-HS100 can recognize ten boundaries of the retina; even detection of Bruch’s membrane (BM) is now possible.
AUTO ANTERIOR TRACKING
Simply click on roughly the center of the pupil . The exact center will be determined and maintained automatically. This means that even when the patient moves his eye or blinks, the same position wil be maintained.
Auto focus and auto C-gate will be performed automatically to obtain the highest signal quality.
REAL-TIME RETINAL TRACKING
By detecting and compensating the amount of movement in the fundus images on a frame-by-frame basis, – the impact of small involuntary movements during fixation will be decreased and motion artifacts will be strongly reduced.
During scanning, the real-time retinal tracking will compensate for involuntary eye movements. Any sections that are partially missing some scan data – caused by larger eye movements, will be re-scanned automatically and the resulting image will be corrected.
ANTERIOR SEGMENT ANALYSIS
With the optional Anterior Segment Adapter , images of the anterior segment including the cornea and chamber angle can be captured.
For analysis, the corneal thickness can be shown as maps and grids. Additionally the distance between 2 points and angles (AOD and TISA) can be measured.
JUST 3 MOUSE CLICKS
That’s all it takes to do an examination; simply click on the center of the pupil, wait for automatic pupil alignment, click on start and after the instrument has aligned and optimised – click on capture.
