Canon Unveils Its Latest Innovation in Interventional Imaging: Alphenix 4D CT in Combination with Aquilion ONE / INSIGHT Edition
European debut at CIRSE 2025, with first installation at CHU of Montpellier
Amstelveen, September 12, 2025 – Canon announces the upcoming European launch of its next-generation interventional imaging solution, the Alphenix 4D CT in combination with Aquilion ONE / INSIGHT Edition.
Officially set to debut at the 40th annual congress of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE 2025), this advanced solution integrates a next-generation Angio-CT suite, combining the Alphenix 4D CT system with the Aquilion ONE / INSIGHT Edition CT scanner.
The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) of Montpellier serves as the first global reference site for the Alphenix 4D CT in combination with Aquilion ONE / INSIGHT Edition, highlighting Canon Medical’s commitment to clinical excellence through strategic partnerships with leading institutions and their specialized departments, such as Professor Boris Guiu’s interventional radiology department.

Designed to integrate the latest advances in interventional imaging, the Angio-CT solution includes in a single room:
- An Alphenix Sky + (high-precision angiography)
- An Aquilion ONE / INSIGHT Edition scanner (ultra-fast volumetric imaging)
This setup enables optimized patient care, with fewer transfers, enhanced precision, and significant dose reductions for both patients and medical teams.

The suite’s official inauguration will take place on October 9, 2025, in the presence of key representatives of Canon Medical Systems Europe, underscoring the project’s global scale.
