L&D Administrator

What will you do?

As Learning and Development Coordinator you are an important part of the L&D team that consists of 4 driven colleagues. What we all have in common is our passion to support others in their development at work and support them to realize their full growth potential.

Together we are responsible for the organization, communication and administration surrounding the development and growth of our employees and customers. Our in-house classroom trainings take place at our European Learning and Development Centre at the headquarters of Canon Medical Systems Europe (CMSE). One of your tasks will be to organize these training and to prepare the classrooms. You will also function as a host for organizational matters. Together with the rest of the L&D team, you will manage all training types (virtual courses live streaming sessions, e-learnings and on the job learnings) in our Learning Management System (LMS). In addition, you will ensure that the right participants are enrolled in the right course. In this role, you will take care of the administration and coordination tasks within the department.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Maintain and administer our Learning Management System, this is the bulk majority of your work;
  • Entering new trainings into the system, ensuring people have the right level of knowledge, confirming participation, enrolling participants to trainings, tracking user accounts and creating reports;
  • Follow up and monitor our compliance regulations and process
  • Support in launch and closing of the classroom and virtual trainings.

Who are you?

  • Our new L&D coordinator is a hard worker, there is a lot to do in the department and we can really use your help!
  • You have strong organization skills and enjoy administrative work.
  • You are a multitasker, have strong prioritizing skills and can manage your time well.
  • You are able to communicate with a many different stakeholders and you are service minded.
  • You are accurate in your work and have a joy in supporting other people
  • You enjoy working in a team and helping others when needed.

What do you bring?

  • Completed Secondary Vocational Education or Bachelor degree.
  • Strong administrative experience and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent English language skills both written and spoken, ideally you also understand and speak some Dutch;
  • You enjoy working with software applications;
  • You have a valid working permit to work in the Netherlands and are already living in the Netherlands;
  • You live at a commutable distance are able to work from our office in Amstelveen 3 times per week and start at 8:30.

  • a gross annual salary appropriate to your knowledge and work experience ranging from EUR 42K – 50K which includes 8% holiday allowance and a 13th month based on 32 hours per week;
  • a 13th month and 8% vacation allowance;
  • 32 vacation days and 5 scheduled days off;
  • travel expenses / home office allowance.
