Canon Medical introduces Xavion - The ultimate in remote-controlled digital R/F

Vienna, Austria, 28 February 2024 – Canon Medical Systems Europe is introducing the Xavion, a new generation of AI-supported R/F systems. The system will be introduced at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna and demonstrated at the Canon booth (#312, Expo 3). Suitable for use in various procedures, Xavion sets a new standard for reliability, ensuring diagnostic excellence in modern fluoroscopy.

Canon dynamic detector
The Xavion, equipped with the wireless Canon CXDI-B1 detector, provides a cost-effective solution to ensure diagnostic excellence for static and dynamic scenarios. The Xavion has a singular-detector design, avoiding the need of a second detector for manual and out-of-tray examinations.

Powered by AI image processing
The Xavion features AI-assisted noise reduction along with simultaneous edge and contrast enhancement, creating the best imaging experience. The deep learning post-processing software produces exceptional clarity in soft and dense tissue, providing healthcare professionals with an invaluable tool for accurate diagnosis.
