Prior to its market launch, Aplio beyond was thoroughly tested at several clinical sites, including Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London, UK. Prof. Adrian Lim, senior consultant at the institution, said “The Aplio beyond punches well above its weight for a scanner in its class." He continued “The image resolution, probe quality and advanced applications approximate to that of a premium high-end scanner. In particular, the performance of the new convex probe and the advanced Precision+ Fine Processing levels for the high frequency transducers stand out.”
Aplio beyond will be commercially available in select markets from today. The system will be on display at the Canon Medical Systems booth at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, Austria (Vienna International Center, Hall X3, booth #319), from February 26 to March 02, 2025.
