XARIO G-SERIES – THE NEXT LEVEL OF CART-BASED MID-RANGE ULTRASOUND SYSTEMS

Vienna, Austria, 1 March 2018 – Canon Medical Systems introduces its new Xario g-series at ECR 2018. The Xario g-series ultrasound system ensures high imaging performance and adds the highest level of mobility and productivity features.

Xario g-series offers total freedom and clinical versatility with up to 8 hours of battery life in full operational mode, enabling fast relocation and reducing the need to connect to a power supply.

Its compact and lightweight design allows the system to be maneuvered into tight spaces, at the patient’s bedside, into small examination rooms or a busy Operating or Emergency room. Its fully customizable panel and 21 inch monitor further help to increase patient throughput and user ergonomics.

The smart standby feature with a mere 2 seconds boot-up time ensures that Xario is always ready for immediate use, allowing the user to significantly improve his workflow. Peripherals such as printers, ECG devices and footswitches can also be wirelessly connected, allowing Xario to quickly adapt to any new scanning environment.

The Xario g-series is one of three new diagnostic ultrasound systems launched by Canon at ECR 2018. “These major product launches demonstrate Canon’s commitment to providing our latest Ultrasound technology solutions to customers in all clinical situations, be it diagnosis requiring our outstanding image quality, mobility to deliver high quality ultrasound throughout the hospital, productivity to enhance daily workflow, or portability to service point of care users,” said Yasuyuki Masakari, General Manager of the Ultrasound Division of Canon Medical Systems Corporation.

All products will be exhibited during ECR 2018, at the Canon booth, No 307, in Hall X3.
