Canon Medical Systems S.A, new global Innovation Partner of Athletic Club

Athletic Club has agreed a strategic innovation alliance with one of the most innovative leading medical imaging companies

Canon Medical Systems and Athletic Club have reached a strategic agreement, by which the Japanese medical equipment company becomes the Club's Global Innovation Partner in the Medical Diagnostic Systems and Technologies sector.

This agreement, which will be in force until December 2024, goes far beyond a sponsorship agreement and fully focuses on implementing innovative solutions in the area of sports medicine.

The collaboration between the innovation departments of both entities aims to generate knowledge for the development of specific projects in the medical field, and more specifically in image diagnosis starting with the state of the art ultrasound systems Aplio a and Aplio i series.

The end goal of this is to improve athlete performance through better injury prevention and better rehabilitation.
