Vantage Orian will be introduced at the upcoming European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, Austria, held between February 28 and March 4. Vantage Orian is one of Canon Medical Systems’ first major product releases since officially changing their company name from Toshiba Medical on January 4, 2018, and represents a major foray into the premium wide bore 1.5T market along with new technology designed to boost productivity, enhance patient comfort and deliver diagnostic clinical confidence to users and patients alike.

The Green Apple awards, a Green Organisation initiative, are part of an annual international campaign to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. Canon Medical Systems Corporation was proclaimed Gold Winner in the category Innovation, for its Aquilion ONE Genesis CT scanner. The exclusive awards ceremony was held in the Palace of Westminster, London. Awards were presented in various categories, such as Carbon, Energy Efficiency, Manufacturing and Waste management.
