Clinical Research on Photon-Counting CT Begins with Radboud University Medical Center

February 26, 2024 – Canon Medical Systems Corporation (hereinafter "Canon Medical"; President and CEO: Toshio Takiguchi; headquarters: Otawara, Tochigi, Japan) has completed the second installation of its Canon photon-counting CT (PCCT) system worldwide at Radboud University Medical Center (Chair: Dr. Bertine Lahuis; location: Nijmegen, the Netherlands), and clinical research began in late January. PCCT is expected to be the next generation of X-ray CT.

Sheffield opens doors to the Canon Medical Arena to help tackle health inequality in the region

Sheffield, United Kingdom, October 5, 2023 – Today the city opened the doors to the UK’s first carbon-neutral built community arena with multi-purpose sports facility and integrated Medical Diagnostic Centre. The construction of the arena has been carbon offset with support from CO2Balance and the delivery of wind turbines in India, in turn creating carbon credits.
