Business Development Manager Computed Tomography

Are you a Business Expert in computed tomography? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work as a Business Development Manager for a leading medical technology company and are you curious, passionate and eager to develop yourself? If yes, we are looking for you!

You will grow CT business in CMSE territory through active and strategic funnel management in close collaboration with the colleagues in the European Business Unit, Canon Group Companies and with the Channel Partner Network. Developing a business strategy focused on increase of market share in the different segments. Arranging regular business development meetings within the CMSE CT BU and with Canon Group Companies and with the Channel Partner Network to monitor and improve commercial performance.

What will you do?

As a Business Development Manager CT you will:
  • Develop a strategic growth strategy focused on the European CT market
  • Conduct analytical research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Keep records of sales, order income, revenue, funnel etc.
  • Arrange monthly business meetings with Canon Group Companies and Channel Partner Network
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Provide analytical after-sales support to the Canon Group Companies and Channel Partner Network based on win-loss analysis
  • Build long-term relationships with Canon Group Companies and Channel Partner Network to understand customer needs and market demands and report back to the European Business Unit CT
  • Build long-term intercompany relationships to strengthen the offering of CT solutions through multimodality approaches, Sales & Service in harmony projects and/or new initiatives
  • Co-developing introduction strategy, market positioning and pricing proposition
  • Contact and support meetings with global HQ in Japan

What do you bring?

  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Business analytics skills
  • Proven working experience in business development, sales or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
  • CT market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
