European CSR Manager

The European CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Manager will play a critical role in advancing the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability in the European region, contributing to both business success and a more sustainable future. The European CSR Manager is responsible for leading and developing the organization's CSR and sustainability initiatives within the European region. This role aims to drive positive social and environmental impacts, aligning the company's business strategies with responsible and sustainable practices.

What will you do?

• Develop and implement the European CSR and sustainability strategy in alignment with global corporate objectives.
• Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including customers, employees, suppliers, NGOs, and governmental bodies, to foster positive relationships and partnerships.
• Lead the initiation of CSRD. Oversee the collection and reporting of sustainability data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Integrate sustainability risks and opportunities into the company's risk framework.
• Oversee sustainability programs, including carbon footprint and waste reduction, ethical sourcing, and community engagement.
• Promote CSR awareness and engagement among employees, fostering a culture of responsibility and sustainability.
• Manage the budget for CSR and sustainability initiatives effectively, ensuring cost-efficient and impactful programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and HR, to integrate CSR and sustainability principles into business operations.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CSR and sustainability programs, adjusting as necessary to achieve goals.

What do you bring?

• Education: relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Proven track record of CSR and CSRD achievements.
• Based in the Netherlands, frequent commute to Amstelveen office.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
