European Service Support Specialist X-Ray
In the role of European Service Support Specialist X-Ray, you will become responsible for the practical support for the European Service organization and the transfer of technical knowledge and experiences to internal and external colleagues through both classroom training and field support. Keeping up to date with product information and contribute to the introduction (technical part) of new products in close collaboration with the Business Unit is also part of your job. In addition, you will coordinate and execute projects and analyze service data.
What will you do?
- Develop, deliver, and update technical training courses for service specialists and local service teams across Europe
- Collect and maintain up-to-date technical know-how and translate product knowledge into effective training materials
- Support the introduction of new products by advising on training needs, service plans, and spare part strategies
- Provide advanced technical service support to internal teams, subsidiaries, and dealers, resolving complex issues on time
- Analyze field data, report recurring issues, and propose improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
- Participate in technical projects, task forces, and process improvements to reduce costs and optimize service delivery
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, service records, and knowledge databases for effective information sharing
What do you bring?
- Education: Bachelor-level, trained in a technical field
- Several years of experience as a Support Specialist (or senior engineer).
- Experienced with X-ray equipment is a must.
- Technical knowledge of Canon XR product is an asset
- Ability to work under stress and to solve complex and urgent problems
- Good interpersonal skills to maintain internal and external contacts with HQ, our group companies and partners
- Diplomacy and persuasiveness to obtain the cooperation of various parties having different interests
- Ability to travel internationally
- Oral and written proficiency in English
