Learning & Development Trainer (Part-time 32 hours)

What will you do?

In this role you will initiate, create, deliver and evaluate people development oriented learning journeys for our European employees. Resulting in the development of resilient and competent staff, a high employee satisfaction in the area of career and people development.

You will:
  • Act as an L&D Business Partner - to investigate the capabilities development requirements and learning needs in relation to the business strategic objectives;
  • Set up a Learning Design to optimize the learning impact and performance in the daily working environment;
  • Deliver training courses in an engaging and interactive and facilitate and design training course programs;
  • Contribute to the creation of a learning culture and acts as L & D ambassador;
  • Liaise and collaborate with Canon EMEA consultants and professional trainers;
  • Coach colleagues in their professional development;
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments and apply best practices.

What do you bring?

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience, with business/learning qualification such as: educational designer, psychology or organizational psychology
  • Preferably a masters in Human Resources Development and/or education in coaching.
  • Strong experience in delivering face-to-face and virtual classrooms as well as other online learning offerings.
  • Significant experience working with consultation, analysis, design, development, and on-going management of development of learning curricula and programs.
  • Strong influencing skills, able to influence sr. management teams and provide authoritative consultation and ownership for decisions.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch both speaking & writing.
  • Willing and ability to travel within Europe however most of the classroom trainings will take place at the Canon Medical Academy located in Amstelveen.

  • a gross annual salary appropriate to your knowledge and work experience;
  • a 13th month and 8% vacation allowance;
  • 32 vacation days and 5 scheduled days off (based on full time 40hours);
  • Part time role for 32 hours per week;
  • travel expenses / home office allowance.
