The role

As (Senior) Business Consultant (Finance & IT), you support the organization in implementing innovations and optimizing enterprise wide processes, with a strong focus on financial processes, reporting and control. You act as the link between business and IT, ensuring that systems and processes enable accurate financial insight, performance management and strategic decision-making.

You report to the Director Business Consultancy and work closely with finance, IT and business stakeholders across Europe.

What will you do?

• Advise the business on process innovation and optimization to support strategic objectives and Business–IT alignment.
• Define and maintain process, information and application architecture within your assigned domain in collaboration with enterprise and solution architects.
• Gather and translate business requirements into clearly defined specifications or user stories.
• Design, implement and test improvements in enterprise processes and related applications in cooperation with business and IT stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions follow principles such as security, scalability, standardization and maintainability.
• Manage smaller projects and releases, including planning, stakeholder coordination, risk monitoring and reporting.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in IT, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Experience with business process improvement, ideally within finance or ERP-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, data structures and performance reporting.
• Knowledge of project methodologies and development approaches; Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage both financial and technical stakeholders.

• a gross monthly salary between €4.700 and €6.900 - aligned with your knowledge and work experience;
• a 13th month and 8% vacation allowance;

• travel expenses / home office allowance.
