Talent Acquisition Specialist

Are you an experienced recruiter ready to take ownership of the entire talent acquisition process in an international and highly regulated environment? At our Canon Medical Systems European Headquarters located in Amstelveen, we’re looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist with a proven track record to successfully lead full-cycle recruitment, manage job offers and contract processes, and drive continuous improvement in our hiring practices. What will you do?

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for a wide range of roles, including specialist roles aligning talent acquisition strategies with business needs.
  • Draft and manage employment contracts and offer letters across regions, ensuring alignment with internal policies and compliance with local and international labor and regulations.
  • Advise hiring managers on international mobility topics, hybrid work arrangements, and cost implications.
  • Maintain and improve recruitment processes, establish and monitor key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, diversity hiring, retention), and report insights to management.
  • Manage relationships and negotiate terms with external recruitment agencies and other third-party partners.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment, with an international and regulated environment.
  • Strong experience in drafting and managing employment contracts and job offers, with solid knowledge of Dutch labor law and international mobility matters.
  • Solid knowledge of recruitment strategies, direct sourcing, employer branding, and creating inclusive, compliant selection processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, data-driven mindset, and the ability to translate recruitment metrics into process improvements.
  • Pro-active personality with great communication skills to create the right employee experience and meet the needs of the business partners.
  • Understanding the different profiles of people and translating this to the needs of the business partners and ability to positively challenge them to recruit the best talent who fits in our company culture.
  • Must reside within 30 km of the Amstelveen office.
