Managing Challenges in Orthopaedic Implant Imaging
Approximately 1.71 billion people have musculoskeletal conditions and musculoskeletal conditions are the leading contributor to disability worldwide. Musculoskeletal conditions significantly limit mobility and dexterity, leading to early retirement from work, lower levels of well-being and reduced ability to participate in society. Because of population increases and ageing, the number of people with musculoskeletal conditions is rapidly increasing. The disability associated with musculoskeletal conditions has been increasing and is projected to continue to increase in the next decades.*
The increase of orthopedic implants is also rising. Therefore easy access to orthopedic implant imaging with high accuracy is important. With this webinar you can increase your knowledge about what specific challenges occur in orthopaedic implant imaging and how to manage these using a high-end hybrid solution with both static imaging and fluoroscopy with specific examples and use of radiosteriometric imaging in daily practice.

Presentation title: Managing challenges in orthopaedic implant imaging
Technological advancements in recent years has allowed for better image quality and greater possibilities for correct positioning. With larger detectors, C-Arms, fluoroscopy and image stitching. This in turn results in certain technical challenges, pitfalls and higher expectations from radiologists and orthopaedic surgeons. This webinar aims to address some of these issues.
