A multi-purpose C-arm solution, optimized for ERCP procedures

Celex, Optimized for ERCP Procedures

Every ERCP procedure presents a unique set of challenges: complex anatomical variations, demanding cannulation techniques, the ever-present risk of complications, and concerns about radiation exposure. We understand these hurdles and believe that diagnostic and imaging equipment handling should never impede examination outcomes.

That's why we've created the dedicated ERCP configuration for the Celex system; an innovative solution thoughtfully designed to empower gastroenterologists, endoscopy nurses, technicians, and anesthesiologists. Equipped with advanced imaging technology, optimized radiation management, integrated workflow improvement tools, and optimized space availability, the Celex ERCP configuration enables to navigate each procedure’s diagnostics complexities confidently and efficiently, allowing you to fully focus on the patient rather than the imaging equipment.

At every step, our goal is simple: to support your focus on what matters most – your patient and the successful execution of the ERCP procedure. Discover how Celex can transform your ERCP procedures, enhancing precision, safety, and clinical outcomes.

Innovative Smart Panel on the Detector Housing

With smart panel control buttons on the detector housing, doctors and operators can easily control all system positioning movements at the touch of a button.

These conveniently accessible panels eliminate the need for additional external control units, streamlining operations and enhancing procedural efficiency.

Compact Footprint

Designed with a compact footprint, the Celex maximizes room space availability, allowing medical staff to optimize their workspace. This efficient design ensures that staff can provide the best possible assistance to the patient, enhancing overall procedural effectiveness.

Unlock the full potential of your procedural and room capabilities with the detachable table option, designed to support a wide range of clinical procedures and optimize performance across multiple specialties within one room.

Enhanced Ergonomics Inspired by Users

The built-in inMotion auto-positioning technology enables direct, automatic positioning of the detector and tube to any saved position with all pre-set examination parameters.

Save and restore any position – permanently or on-the-fly. Preferred positions can be saved and recalled at any time, for fast and fully automatic positioning.

Multi-Purpose C-Arm System to Improve Patient Outcomes

Detachable table option

The Celex's versatility ensures it performs exceptionally well across various examinations, making it ideal for hospitals where rooms are shared among different departments. Whether it’s cystography, arthrography, or endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), the system’s design ensures maximum efficiency and adaptability to meet diagnostic needs.

One standout feature is the detachable table, which allows users to easily remove and park the tabletop on a trolley with just a few simple steps. This quick and seamless process enhances the room's flexibility and functionality, freeing up space for patients in wheelchairs or stretchers and making the system adaptable to a wide range of procedures.

Depending on the clinical requirements – which could include the need to perform ERCP examinations – or examination room constraints, the Celex is available in two versions with either a left-side or a right-side suspended table, which can hold 300 kg.

Accessing the patient table is easy due to the low access height of only 50 cm (AP) above the floor, while the unique design concept offers best-in-class SID range of 100–150 cm.

Functionality by design

The Celex offers an extensive range of DR imaging capabilities. It combines state-of-the-art imaging with unique positioning flexibility and represents a true multipurpose solution that delivers optimum capacity utilization.

Rethink Multi-Purpose C-Arm Versatility and Power of Operations

This easy-to-use console is designed to be used for convenient in-room system management and provides full control of the functions you need during an in-room procedure.

The speed behaviour of joysticks for system and collimator control is force-sensitive, where the degree of tilt in any given direction determines the speed of the movement. This makes fine adjustments easy yet effective.
The maximum manual speed is configurable in the settings menu depending on the users’ needs. It’s also possible to limit the maximum manual speed in the settings menu. This feature will make fine movement adjustments easy for every operator.

Seamless workflow user interface

The Celex user interface allows intuitive control of the system's movements and exposure parameters. Simple, self-explanatory icons on the large touchscreen make the system operation efficient, yet easy to master. Depending on the user’s preferences, customizable buttons can be selected to ensure smooth operation tailored to the department’s needs.

Four joysticks allow direct access to key functions such as system positioning, setting and adjusting image parameters, and performing specialized movements. The ergonomic 3-axis joysticks are marked in different colors, making them easier to distinguish visually. Different shapes enable the user to separate joysticks by tactile sense. The color on top of the joystick presents the respective colors of the movement controls on the intuitive user interface.

Built-in inTouch technology

Built-in sensors in all joysticks ensure that they are only active when you want them to be. The inTouch technology senses the touch of a finger at the top of the joystick, making this safety feature seamless, yet effective.

Large monitor for enhanced visualization

The Celex features a large monitor that simultaneously displays the X-ray reference image, live fluoroscopic image, and endoscopic image. This comprehensive view ensures no loss of critical information, supporting precise diagnostics and treatment.

Convenient. Mobile. Ergonomic.

The inControl provides a convenient way of positioning and controlling the system from within the room. The ergonomic handle and lockable wheels ensure that moving it from a bedside position to a standing examination requires no effort at all. Motorized movements mean that the height can be effortlessly and seamlessly adjusted to the individual who is using it, ensuring that an ergonomic work environment is maintained.

Radiation dose

The Celex system has been designed with both patient and user safety at the forefront, particularly for demanding procedures like ERCP, which require superior diagnostic precision. It delivers high-quality imaging that aids operators in achieving successful outcomes by providing excellent diagnostics while automatically maintaining a strong focus on minimising radiation exposure.

The carbon fiber table is engineered to reduce X-ray absorption, maximising radiation dose reduction without compromising image quality. Additionally, Celex is equipped with advanced features such as noise reduction and enhanced edge definition, further refining image clarity while minimizing unnecessary exposure. For procedures outside of the ERCP room, Celex offers additional radiation-reducing capabilities.
For instance, the table can be easily removed from the C-arm to maintain a clear space between the tube and detector during swallow or standing exams, further reducing the dose. Moreover, the system allows for quick removal of the grid, making it especially suited for pediatric patients where minimizing radiation is critical.

This combination of safety, precision, and flexibility makes Celex a versatile and trusted choice for a wide range of imaging needs, while putting patient and operator safety at the forefront.

CXDI Detector

The Celex system is equipped with a state-of-the-art dynamic Canon detector, offering exceptional static imaging combined with advanced dynamic capabilities. Its high sensitivity and superior resolution ensure precise, detailed imaging across a wide range of applications, making it an ideal choice for facilities requiring top-tier performance in both static and real-time imaging scenarios.
